Oriental Thuja (lat. Biota orientalis) – a distinct genus of evergreen coniferous tree in the cypress family. It is distributed in northern-western China, Manchuria, and Korea. And now it is naturalised in southern and central Europe and other countries as well. The height is 10-18 m, and it is a multi-bodied tree. In Azerbaijan it can be found on the Absheron peninsula, Kur-Araz, Davachi and Lankaran lowlands.
