Within the framework of efforts to ensure the safe transportation of wastewater in Baku city, improve the existing sewage system, and increase the transmission capacity of the networks, the Azerbaijan State Water Resources Agency is also carrying out the renovation of the Sahil collector.

As part of the project, excavation work is planned at several points along the section of the collector that falls within the Seaside National Park area. The excavation work will be carried out at locations that do not impede the movement of visitors or the operation of the National Park.

The collector will serve to efficiently manage the wastewater generated in the center of the capital and improve the ecological condition of the Baku Bay
