Tea, which holds a special place in Azerbaijani culture and at the table, is one of the important values that brings people together and keeps the traditions of hospitality alive. Tea has a historical connection with Baku Boulevard. For this very reason, the Seaside Boulevard Administration had been working for some time to present tea culture in a festival format. The festival area, which reflects all the elements of the tea table, has been prepared in accordance with the name and spirit of the event.

Corners such as the tea garden created in the festival area and conversation spots decorated with greenery provide visitors with the opportunity to spend their leisure time pleasantly. The decorative depiction of the armudu glass — one of the traditional attributes of our tea table — at a height of 6 meters is also among the striking elements of the festival. This decoration, which is the handiwork of the employees of the Seaside Boulevard Administration, presents the traditions of the Azerbaijani tea table in a different form. This attribute, adorned with lights, creates a pleasant view, especially in the evening hours.

Within the framework of the festival, the products of Azerbaijan's leading tea producers, sweets typical of our regions, and herbal teas brought from Karabakh and East Zangezur are presented. Visitors can also get acquainted with the traditional attributes of the tea table, samovars, and decorative items. The traditions of countries distinguished by their unique tea culture are also demonstrated at the festival. Uzbekistan's distinctive tea table and the tea traditions of China, considered the homeland of tea, are presented at the festival.

The purpose of the event is to promote Azerbaijan's national tea culture, to promote the various products of local producers, and to present tea not merely as a beverage but as a cultural tradition that brings people together.

The Tea Festival will continue every day until October 18, from 12:00 to 23:00. Entry to the festival is free.
