"SANCO KITE RACE" WAS HELD ON THE SEASIDE NATIONAL PARK

On July 24, 2022, the "Sanjo Kite Race" was organized by the Embassy of Japany in the Republic of Azerbaijan. The participants of the event watched the 300-year-old competition and had the chance to fly a kite in the sky of Baku.
 

One of the main goals of the event was to introduce an ancient traditions of Japan to the people of Azerbaijan. Japan's traditional kite racing has attracted great interest from visitors to the National Park.
