Requirements for candidates for members of the Public Council at Seaside Boulevard and the procedure for their registration

In order to ensure the transparency of the activities of the Seaside Boulevard Department, public control, the formation of state policy, the implementation and consideration of public opinion in decision-making, the process of creating a Public Council in accordance with the law has begun. Every able-bodied citizen of the Republic of Azerbaijan who has reached the age of 16, has high moral and ethical principles and has experience or knowledge in relevant fields, regardless of race, ethnicity, religion, language, gender, origin, property status, status, beliefs, membership in political parties, trade unions and other public associations can be a member of the Public Council. Each civil society institution can nominate only one candidate for membership in the Public Council. The employees of the Seaside Boulevard Department cannot be members of the Public Council created under the Administration. The application of the Civil Society Institute must be accompanied by the following documents about the candidate nominated for membership in the Public Council: 1. a copy of the candidate's identity card; 2. Biography of the candidate; 3. If the candidate is a member of a civil society institution, a copy of the document confirming his membership; 4. A document confirming that a person has experience or knowledge in the relevant field (a copy of the work book, if any, and other documents confirming the information in the absence of a work book). The election commission, created by the order of the Chairman of the Seaside Boulevard Department dated March 17, 2021, No. 27, within three working days will consider the issue of registering a person wishing to nominate a candidate to the Public Council and make a corresponding decision.

Civil society institutions wishing to have their representatives at a joint meeting should contact the election commission ten days before election day and provide the necessary information about themselves (name, surname, patronymic, date of birth, place of residence, contact details) at info@bulvar.gov.az. Deadline for submitting documents for registration of candidates: 06/30/2021. Elections to the Public Council will take place within one month after the completion of the nomination process. Information about the time and place of the elections to the Public Council will be published on the official website.
