“Legends of the Night” race, karting championship final and drift show held in the Seaside National Park
On July 19, within the framework of cooperation between the Azerbaijan Automobile Federation, Baku City Circuit Operations Company, Caspian Event Organisers, and the Seaside Boulevard Department, the “Legends of the Night” event took place, featuring races, the final of the karting championship, and a drift show.On a specially designed track at the State Flag Square, 12 professional drivers competed in compact vehicles that combined classic design with modern technology. Following an intense 25-lap race, Adil Akhundov claimed first place, Farid Guliyev took second, and Elvin Khudaverdiyev secured third.
As part of the event, the final stage of the karting championship among young drivers aged 12 to 15 was also held. In the 15-lap final, Teymur Rahimov emerged as the winner, while Rafik Kazimli and Omar Shahmuradly took second and third places respectively.The evening program featured a drift show, a “Stunt Show” with extreme car and motorcycle tricks, and a motorcycle freestyle show. The main stars of the night included world-renowned British stunt driver Terry Grant, who holds over 20 world records, UK freestyle champion Lee Bowers, and professional drift pilot from Ireland, Neill Gunn.
