European Cercis (Judas Tree) (lat. Cercis siliquastrum) – a beautiful tree or bush, a member of the pea family. European Cercis is native to the Mediterranean Sea, Middle-East and Central Asia, Black Sea shore, as well as the Northern Caucasus. It grows to a height of 7-15 m. It can be found in the territory of the Old Boulevard.
