As part of "Sports Week," a women's cycling tour was held on March 8 in Baku, organized by the Azerbaijan Cycling Federation, the Ministry of Youth and Sports, and the Azerbaijan Land Transport Agency (AYNA).

The event took place along the Seaside Boulevard and brought together women working across various sectors.

Leyla Aliyeva, Vice President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and founder and head of the IDEA Public Union, Farid Gayibov, Minister of Youth and Sports, and Madat Guliyev, President of the Azerbaijan Cycling Federation, also participated in the ride.

The main goal of the event was to support amateur female cyclists in spending their leisure time effectively, promote bicycles as an eco-friendly means of transportation, and encourage women to use bicycles more actively. Participants followed the Azneft Roundabout – Sea Terminal route during the ride.
