Vitex (lat. Vítex ágnus cástus) – a tree-shaped bush, it grows to a height of 4-8 m. Geographically it is spread in Northern Africa, Algeria, Morocco, Tunisia, Southern Europe, Asia, the South Caucasus and Central Asia. It has been planted worldwide in parks and gardens since 1570. It can be found in the territory of the Old Boulevard.
