Hornbeam ordinary (lat. Carpinus betulus L.) –constitutes the genus Carpinus of the birch family. It is naturally spread in the mainland of Europe, Minor Asia, Caucasus and the Iranian plateau. It is a small-medium deciduous tree which usually grows 20-25m in height, rarely exceeding 30m. It can be found in the territory of the Old Boulevard.
